Teen Therapy

Virtual Teen Therapy for Ages 12–18 | Support for Anxiety, Identity & Emotional Wellbeing

A Space That's Truly Theirs

Adolescence comes with real pressure: school, identity, friendships, family, and a body and brain that are changing faster than anything else in their life. Teen therapy gives your teenager a private, judgment-free space to sort through it all, on their terms, while building the kind of self-trust that carries into adulthood.

Four Reasons to Start Teen Therapy

A Judgment-Free Space to Be Heard

Teens get a space that's genuinely theirs. One where they don't have to manage anyone else's reaction to what they say or what they do.

Support for Anxiety, Identity & Emotional Ups and Downs

From anxiety and mood shifts to identity questions and relational stress, therapy gives teens language for what they're experiencing instead of meandering through challenges without support.

Real Ownership Over Their Own Care

Teens are legally part of the consent process for their own treatment, an important step in learning they have a real say in their own wellbeing and health.

Parents Included When It Helps

Parents and guardians can be part of the process intermittently, in ways that support your teen's safety and stability without compromising their trust or privacy.

Help your teen connect with their voice, identity, and inner strengths.

What to Expect

Teen therapy is for adolescents ages 12 to 18, in 45-minute weekly sessions with a therapist experienced in working with this age group.

In sessions, your teen's therapist will work to build a genuine, trusted relationship before digging into the specific patterns, pressures, or experiences bringing them in, whether that's anxiety, low mood, identity questions, family conflict, peer relationships, or something harder to name. The goal isn't to fix your teen or manage their behavior from the outside; it's to help them build the self-awareness, coping tools, and confidence to navigate their own life with more clarity and less overwhelm.

Confidentiality in these sessions belongs to the teen, who is legally the client. Parents and legal guardians may be included in treatment intermittently to support the teen's overall safety and stability. Either the teen or a parent/guardian can request a joint session, and your therapist will help facilitate that as naturally as possible. Your therapist may also initiate a parent session when it's in the best interest of your teen's treatment plan.
