Reconnect With Your Own Voice
Individual therapy is dedicated space, just for you, to slow down, be fully heard, and figure out what's actually true for you underneath the noise of everyday life. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply feel disconnected from yourself, individual sessions give you room to reconnect with your own voice, at your own pace.
A Space That's Entirely Yours
No one else's needs to manage, no one else's feelings to track, just 45 minutes each week that belong to you and your experience.
Support for Anxiety, Depression & Trauma
Individual therapy is well suited to working through persistent anxiety, depressive symptoms, past trauma, and the emotional weight that builds up when life feels like too much.
Rebuild Trust in Your Own Perspective
Over time, you'll build clarity around what you think, feel, need, and want, separate from what everyone else expects or assumes.
Care That Fits Your Life
Sessions happen virtually, from wherever you are, on a HIPAA-compliant platform, so consistent care doesn't have to compete with a busy schedule.
Reconnect with yourself beneath the noise of everyday life.
What to Expect
Individual therapy at Mealer Family Therapy is one-on-one, 45-minute weekly sessions with your therapist, held virtually so you can meet from home, your car, or wherever feels most private and comfortable.
In sessions, your therapist will get to know your history, your patterns, and the specific things that brought you to therapy right now, whether that's anxiety, depression, trauma, a major life transition, or a general sense that something needs to change. Early sessions are largely about building trust and understanding your story. From there, the work becomes more targeted toward the patterns, beliefs, and coping behaviors that keep you stuck, and establishing and strengthening the self-trust and clarity to make choices that reflect who you are.
There's no fixed timeline for individual therapy: some people come for a specific season of life, others continue long term. What stays consistent is the goal: to help you feel more grounded, more like yourself, and more equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
