Services Provided
Individual Therapy
45-minute sessions with you and your therapist, one-on-one. This applies to all adults over the age of 18 years old.
If you are seeking treatment on behalf of your adult child 18 years old or older, your child is legally the consenting party for treatment. You can reach out to a therapist as an inquiring party, but ultimately it is your child’s choice to start and continue the treatment. As the parent, you can pay for the treatment as long as your child gives consent for their therapist to do so.

Child Therapy
45-minute sessions with your child under the age of 13 years old. Child sessions are predominantly spent with the child as the relationship between the child and therapist is built. Parents/legal guardians may be included in sessions either with or without the child throughout the treatment in support of the child’s overall safety and stability. Your therapist will determine how best to incorporate you as the parent(s) as the work progresses with your child.

Family Therapy
45-minute sessions with a family system containing multiple individuals and your therapist. This is recommended for families who are looking to process a collective trauma or recent challenge that has impacted all members of the family. All members older than 13 years old must consent to the treatment and the confidentiality belongs to the group as a whole. If appropriate, your therapist may recommend more individualized treatment for specific members of the family or couples sessions for the adults in the family system.

Couples Therapy
45-minute sessions with you, your significant other, and the therapist. There are certain circumstances in which couple’s sessions are counter-intuitive to entering into couple’s work. Your therapist will be assessing those risk factors as the sessions progress. There are also appropriate instances that couple’s work is more effective when the therapist works with each individual separately for a specific amount of time. This helps the therapist better understand each person’s history and traumas that may be impacting the overall health of the relationship and done with the intent for the couple to be able to share with one another the hurts of their past as they look towards clarifying their future.

Teen Therapy
45-minute sessions with your child 13 years old to 18 years old. When working with teens over the age of 13 years old, consent must be given both by the teen’s parents/legal guardian and the teenager. This is not only legal, but also essential as the teen begins to understand they have ownership in their own well-being and health. The confidentiality is maintained by the teen, who is legally the patient/client, but parents/legal guardians can be included in the treatment intermittently to support the teen’s overall safety and stability. Either the teen and/or the parents/legal guardians can request a session and your therapist will help facilitate that component in the treatment as naturally as possible. Your therapist may also initiate a parent session if in the best interest of your teen and their treatment plan.
